Amanda Preston

Spiritual Director

From an early age, I have had a deep desire to minister to people. I have always loved getting together with people and seeing how God works during the conversation. I am passionate about seeing the body of Christ be transformed from the inside out. I desire to see us all commit to cheering each other on, helping one another up, and humbly working through conflict. I also really enjoy spending time with my husband and children- especially at home with coffee in hand or hiking on a trail in the woods.

My desire is to help people slow down, quiet themselves, and intentionally allow God to search them and know them. My favorite way to facilitate this is through group spiritual direction and silent retreats. I have found that spiritual direction in a group provides a space where deeper community is fostered with one another. It’s a safe place where each has the opportunity to share honestly where they are at in their walk with Jesus, while also learning to deeply listen to people and the Holy Spirit. The silent retreats that I facilitate are made for people who are taking their first step toward a more slowed-down pace of spirituality.
