Ignatian Retreats

An Ignatian retreat is a spiritual experience based on the teachings and practices of St. Ignatius of Loyola.

It typically involves a period of extended prayer, reflection, and meditation, often over several days, where participants seek to deepen their relationship with God.

Here at Valley Christian, we take this framework for a multi-day retreat and apply it to either a 12 or 30 week small group experience. Participants meet on a weekly basis and have daily assignments throughout each week. Throughout the multi-week experience, participants are encouraged to reflect on their lives, discern God’s will, and grow in awareness of God’s very real presence in their lives. Through Scripturally-based prayer and contemplation, participants are invited to encounter Christ in a personal and transformative way, all within a supportive and prayerful environment.

Typically, the 30-week experience starts in September each year and the 12-week experience starts in January. Please follow us on social media for updates on when new groups are starting or contact us at office@valleychristian.co for more information.
