Cybil Johnson
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Counseling relies on the power of a collaborative relationship and personal reflection to foster healing and growth. With a heart for supporting individuals through life’s struggles, I strive to create a welcoming and safe environment where clients can share openly, free from judgment, as they work towards a better quality of life and stronger relationships.
I help clients navigate challenges by meeting them where they are, drawing on several therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). With a focus on strength-based and solution-focused strategies, people are empowered to develop healthier coping skills, emotional resilience, and greater self-awareness.
I am deeply guided by my faith in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit’s presence. As a counselor, I strive to create a space where clients can experience the profound healing that comes from spiritual reflection, personal growth, and God’s grace. Through this process, people come to know and experience God’s forgiveness and love, as reflected in Ephesians 1:7.
