Debbie Colbeck
Master of Arts: Professional Counseling
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
Many times, life’s burdens are too big to carry alone, and we need help. God has given me a desire to walk alongside those who are hurting and provide a safe place for clients to share life’s struggles and trials without judgement. I believe therapy is a collaborative process to find healing for mental, emotional, and spiritual issues. Working together, we explore each person’s goals for health and healing in an atmosphere that is safe, compassionate, supportive, and empathetic. My approach to counseling is primarily cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Christian counseling techniques, and motivational interviewing techniques. Every session is tailored to the client’s needs.
I received my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and am working toward my LPCC licensure. I feel blessed and fortunate to work at Valley Christian Counseling Center!
