Ellen Zaeske
Spiritual Director
I love to create a grace-filled window of time for someone to notice God’s voice and activity in a way that ordinary life doesn’t often allow us time for. My passion is to walk with other Christians as they experience God in new ways and are drawn into greater intimacy with Him. God is always inviting us to join Him, and hearing and responding to His loving words is the great adventure of our lives!
I grew up attending church regularly and was the church organist and musician. I fell into a relationship with God while living in rural North Dakota. Life got busy and I reconnected with Him in a deeper way when I was a participant in the Ignatian Retreat. It was during that time I discerned His calling to become a Spiritual Director. I had loved the Ignatian Retreat so much that I knew I wanted to facilitate it for others! I have been a nurse and mental health therapist in my career, and recently retired as a Christian counselor at Valley Christian to be open to what God will have for me next as a Spiritual Director.
