"He restores my soul..."
- Psalm 23:3
There are many parallels in the process of tending to the wounds of the body and tending to the wounds of the soul. Both require gentle care and attention to the layers impacted and compassionate support for their healing stages.
I have been a thankful recipient of the comfort of God through the healing process, and desire to comfort others in that way (2 Corinthians 1:4). He has been faithful to provide wisdom, grace, and steadfast love through the helpers in my own life. As a result, my constant prayer is to offer the same for those I encounter.
My aim has also been to do this while keeping in mind the frameworks that are forming my foundation as a counselor. Some of those tools and frameworks currently include CBT, DBT Skills, EMDR, biosocial, Attachment Theory, Play Therapy, Sand tray, Narrative, and Christian Counseling.
I invite you to come and receive support as you seek restoration and make meaning of your story. I earnestly look forward to seeing you.
