Lukas Eisen
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Going to therapy can be a scary experience, especially if you have never seen a therapist before, had a bad past experience, or if you are just not sure how this works. That’s why I strive to be Our Lord’s voice, hands and feet so that you can experience His unconditional love and mercy.
I firmly believe that it is through experiencing His love and mercy that we find healing. Whether it is healing from a major tragedy in life, such as loss, trauma or abuse, or the invisible wounds of rejection and hurt that so often show up as what we therapists commonly call depression or anxiety.
Areas of Interest
I use a systemic approach in my work, taking into account the relational context of individuals and families, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy, uncovering problematic belief systems and allowing God to transform and align these belief systems with his word and truth. I see families and individuals 12 years and up experiencing a variety of concerns, including:
● Anxiety
● Depression
● Relationship difficulties
● Boundary problems
● Trauma
● Spiritual concerns
● Parenting
● Behavioral problems in children
● Stress management
● Life adjustments
