Nicky Holzworth

Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed

There are some professions which help you to see people and the world differently, more gently, and more fully. Occupational Therapy has provided this opportunity for me. The people I’ve worked with have taught me so much about who they are and how they approach life’s challenges. It’s a gift to accompany people, and share their experiences and wisdom gained, while addressing challenges impacting daily life.

Personally, I’m slowly learning patience with myself – it’s through my weakness that I become even more aware of my need for the Lord and His abundant grace. He can use this struggle, He is with me in it, and can help me grow. My hope is for my clients to grow in awareness of the source of their strength and their gifts while working through their challenges.

Over the years I’ve learned the medical model is not enough. My approach is to attempt to address the whole person: physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
