Van Norman
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
In order to be truly healthy, my belief is that our mind, body, and spirit all need to be nourished. Self-care, spiritual growth, and expanding our minds hopefully can be a part of everyone’s life. Therapeutically I have an eclectic approach. I believe we are all individuals who have our own way of processing, and therefore, one method does not necessarily work for all. Depending on the person and need, I draw from Solution Focused, Narrative, Structural/Strategic, Cognitive Behavioral, and/or Family Systems therapeutic techniques to help each client achieve their desired outcome. I bring God into every session by asking him to give me wisdom and direction so that healing can begin. I know personally God has been there during periods of joy but He has been even more present through periods of pain.
