Shannon Heick

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Find purpose. Find joy.

Find purpose.
Find joy.

As a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about empowering individuals to live their best lives. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, or personal growth, my goal is to offer a safe and supportive space where you feel equipped to overcome challenges and thrive. I believe that within your unique experiences are the strengths, skills, and resources needed for growth—I would be honored to help you discover and build on them.

Shannon Heick

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) with my therapy dog, Goose. My approach is rooted in grace, as John 1:16 says, “For from His fullness, we have all received grace upon grace.” I also integrate Christian principles into therapy for those seeking a faith-based approach, but welcome clients from all backgrounds with compassion and respect.

Along with my evidence-based CBT approach, I am skilled in helping individuals set healthy boundaries and improve communication skills, which are essential for personal and relational well-being. I work collaboratively with you, helping you build on your strengths and using a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to your unique needs.

I look forward to getting to know your story and walking alongside you as you grow into the person you’re meant to be.

"For from His fullness, we have all received grace upon grace."
— John 1:16
