What to Expect in Spiritual Direction
In a spiritual direction session, you will meet with a trained and experienced spiritual director who is committed to helping you grow in Christ. Through prayer, reflection, and conversation, your director will help you listen for God’s voice and discern His will. Our approach is non-judgmental and focused on your unique spiritual journey, providing you with the space to be honest about your doubts, fears, and longings while being encouraged in your faith.

Whether you are at a crossroads in life or simply desire a closer walk with Jesus, we invite you to embark on this sacred journey with us.
Ignatian Retreats
It typically involves a period of extended prayer, reflection, and meditation, often over several days, where participants seek to deepen their relationship with God.
Here at Valley Christian, we take this framework for a multi-day retreat and apply it to either a 12 or 30 week small group experience. Participants meet on a weekly basis and have daily assignments throughout each week. Throughout the multi-week experience, participants are encouraged to reflect on their lives, discern God’s will, and grow in awareness of God’s very real presence in their lives. Through Scripturally-based prayer and contemplation, participants are invited to encounter Christ in a personal and transformative way, all within a supportive and prayerful environment.
