Brooke Fredrickson
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist
As a registered dietitian nutritionist, I believe that nutrition is the foundation of physical health. God created our bodies in a way that requires nutrients to function, and when we deprive our bodies of what they need, our health will suffer. As a Christian, I am a strong proponent of body stewardship. I believe that God created our bodies, and it is our responsibility to take care of them.
I practice from a holistic framework which focuses on the whole person and addresses nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress to create balance to support optimal health. I encourage whole foods as God created them and can provide guidance for supplementation where necessary. It’s important to understand that nutrition is more than just knowledge. It is affected by our environment, beliefs, and behaviors. Most people know what to do, but often struggle to do it. I make it a priority to meet my clients where they are at and work with them to make small, sustainable changes that will have a big impact over time.
