"He restores my soul..."
- Psalm 23:3
There are many parallels in the process of tending to the wounds of the body and tending to the wounds of the soul. Both require gentle care and attention to the layers impacted and compassionate support for their healing stages.
Dan Allender writes, “You are a story. You are not merely the possessor and teller of a number of stories; you are a well-written, intentional story that is authored by the greatest Writer of all time, and even before time and after time.” Viewing your story through the framework of redemption can feel challenging in the face of suffering. Together, we will seek meaning, restoration, and hope in your story with the use of EMDR, Narrative, Attachment, and Christian Counseling therapeutic modalities.
Additionally, for those in their childhood and adolescent years, the integration of Play Therapy will provide a helpful basis for this work. Creative approaches, including artistic expression and the Sand Tray, can also be applied for any age.
