Explore the New Hulbert Children's Center at Our Community Open House

On Thursday, June 11, from 4:00–6:00 PM, Valley Christian Counseling & Wellness is opening the doors of the brand new Hulbert Children’s Center for a free community open house, and we would love for you to join us.
This is more than just an opportunity to tour a new building. It is a chance to experience a space intentionally created for children, families, healing, and hope.
Bring your family, enjoy complimentary ice cream and popcorn, meet our team, and explore a one-of-a-kind pediatric wellness center designed to support the mental, emotional, developmental, and spiritual well-being of children in our community.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent, educator, church leader, healthcare professional, referral partner, or simply someone who cares about the well-being of kids in Fargo-Moorhead, this event is for you.
What You’ll Experience
As you walk through the Hulbert Children’s Center, you’ll get a firsthand look at spaces intentionally designed with children and families in mind, including:
- Summit Studio, our occupational therapy gym featuring therapeutic swings, ladders, and a climbing wall
- House of Hope, a fully simulated life-skills apartment where children can practice everyday routines and build independence
- Dedicated play therapy rooms
- A peaceful Parent Lounge complete with massage chairs and calming amenities
- A dedicated children’s chapel for prayer and reflection
- Sensory-friendly features and calming spaces throughout the building
Every detail was thoughtfully created to help children feel safe, supported, and equipped to grow.
More Than a Building
The Hulbert Children’s Center represents a major step forward in expanding pediatric mental health and wellness care in our region.
Families can now access a more connected model of care in one welcoming environment, including:
- Pediatric counseling
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Speech therapy
- Nutrition services
We believe caring for children means caring for the whole child: body, mind, and spirit.
As the need for pediatric support continues to grow, spaces like this matter. Early intervention can make a meaningful difference in helping children build resilience, navigate challenges, and move toward healing.
